Classifier PC10
The Eldan Classifier PC10 is responsible for removing liberated steel and textile from the rubber granulate.
It consists of a steel removal slide, a screen layer with holes and a bottom tray with no holes. The rubber granulate is fed to the machine at the inlet and is then passed over the steel removal slide, where an Overband Magnet will effectively remove the steel from the rubber granules. The material is then passed over the screen layer with holes. The oscilating motion of the screen causes the rubber granules to pass through the screen while the textile binds together and remains on top.
Bouncing rubber balls will effectively keep the screens from clogging. The screens themselves can be changed very easily for processing different sizes of rubber granulate.
