Can Baler and Sorter
Sorting and baling aluminium and steel cans is straightforward with equipment from JMC McIntyre. The Alpack 2000 automatic can sorter provides an inexpensive way to separate the different types of can so that they’re ready for baling. The sorter could be attached to a JMC M10 or M20 can baler which will bale your cans into dense cubes which are approximately 10kg in weight so they’re easy to handle and stack. Larger operations will be interested in the M40 multi purpose baler which will process up to 1200kg of cans every hour.
METALL-I-CAN Multi-Purpose Metal and Oil Filter Baler
Metallican is the latest in the range of JMC metal balers and one of the fastest. It produces up to 20 bales of metal per hour and is able to act as an oil filter baler, baling over 1 tonne an hour of aluminium cans. The Metallican baler is a general purpose machine with an automatic hopper feed so it is ideal for all non ferrous grades, particularly aluminium and steel cans and it’s also perfect for oil filters. All that Metallican needs is a supply of material and once started the operator is free to load or unload the machine or attend to other aspects of your business. Metallican will process up to 1200kg of drinks cans per hour, producing dense bales which weigh between 12 and 14kg.
Although ideal for aluminium cans, non ferrous metals and oil filters, Metallican is also suitable for many other materials and applications where automatic volume reduction or product destruction is required.
The JMC McIntyre M10 and M20 Can Balers.
Bale your aluminium cans, steel cans, aluminium swarf and aluminium foil with a can baler from JMC Recycling. The M10 and M20 can balers lock aluminium or steel drinks cans, or other suitable scrap metal together to form dense cubes of material. The size of the bale is 274mm (10″) x 274mm (10″) x variable and weighs approximately 10kg making the bales easy to lift and stack. No tying or strapping is needed and the bales are ejected from the machine ready for transportation or storage.
JMC can balers will accept cans up to 250 x 480mm (9.5″ x 19″) in size, the smaller the size of the can the greater the machine output. The M10 can baler produces up to 400kg of 20g cans per hour whereas the M20 baler will produce up to 750kg of baled 20g cans per hour.
Alpack 2000 Automatic Can Sorter
The Alpack 2000 can sorter is fast, durable and reliable, providing an inexpensive way to separate large volumes of steel cans from high value aluminium UBCs. Two versions of this can sorter are available, one with and one without magnetic separation.
The Alpack 2000 can sorter works independently but, coupled with one of our other can balers, you could have a fully integrated baling and sorting system for used drinks cans.
