THE RECYCLING OF MERCURY CONSISTS OF TWO STAGES:
STAGE 1 - SEPARATION
The materials from the mercury-bearing lamps are separated. This can be done with a Compact Crush and Separation unit (CCS) or an End Cut Machine (ECM), depending on the application and quantity of waste to be processed.
STAGE 2 - RECOVERY
Secondly, the mercury is recovered from the waste materials by means of distillation.
